Q&A

1.  What on earth is this stone road of yours?

It’s the Kings Road. The longest road in the land, all the way from The University to far beyond the Great Stormwal Mountains. I travel parts of it frequently, from town to city to town again. I love passing through, playing tricks, meeting new people and acting out a bit of a performance along the way. My best parts of the journey are being able to travel with a band of the Edema Ruh when they’ll allow me.

2. Do you own it?

No, of course not. It’s the Kings Road, first built by King Leotard in the year 374, though I’ll admit it wasn’t nearly as long back then as it is today. In fact, at the time it only went from Imre to Analin. As to why those two? Your guess is as good as mine. Since its inception it’s been the responsibility of every king of Temerant to take care of it, though with the tax dollars I paid this year, in my opinion the current reign isn’t doing a very good job of it. (If you’re not going to fix the road, I want my money back. How am I supposed to travel when every mile there’s trees in the way. Sheeeesh.)

3. The name Chris, it doesn’t sound very old, does it?

Again, with the doubts. If you must know, it’s actually Christopherson Brightwellius Vandeldorf the Third. It’s a bit long for my taste, and I know most of my followers will have a hard time pronouncing it. That’s why I’ve shortened it to Chris. Who knows, I think it’s starting to catch on.

4. What year is it?

Look, I know not everyone has a calendar, I get it, but please ask someone else. Next time, stop at the church in town, it’s their job to keep records like that. Or get a sundial, they’re not as expensive as they used to be and the newest models from The Fishery are excellent.

For the record, it’s 725 CD. We’re in a Felling Year too, which as you should know means the Mid-Winter Festival will take place 17 nights from now. don’t forget it. It will be bad to get caught outside with all those demons running around.

5. What time is it?

Oh, for Felling’s sake, 11:43. Are you happy now? Sundials people. Seriously. They even make a travel size. You’ve got no excuse.

6. Why the Wizard Business?

Oh, thank you, finally I question I’m happy with. I was lucky enough to take an entry level wizarding class in secondary school. It sucked, or rather, It did for me. I got a D. But, two years later, at the same school I took Wizarding 2. That was amazing. That was seven years ago, and from then on, I’ve loved it ever since. Who knows, I think I’m finally getting the hang of it. Alakazam!!! Hmm, no effect. Oh darn. Well then again, maybe not.
